Chocolate, Apple and Oatmeal Fitness Waffles

Chocolate, Apple and Oatmeal Fitness Waffles

Ingredients For 4 Units

  • 50 g Creation Cacao
  • 250 grams of gluten-free flour
  • 125 grams of coconut sugar
  • 125 grams of unsalted butter
  • 50 grams of cacao
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon fine salt

Utensils

  • Blender
  • Bowl
  • Wire Whisk
  • Jar
  • Fridge
  • Waffle's Mound
  • Oven

Preparation (25 minutes) + Cooling Period (20 min):

Blend the cacao until powder.

In a bowl beat the egg and egg whites with the wire whisk, add the peanut butter, the Sugar-free applesauce or purée and the milk and beat a little more.

Add the rest of the ingredients, sifting if we want the oatmeal and the cacao with the yeast to avoid lumps, and beat well until we have a ho-mogeneous mass. If it's too runny, add a little more oatmeal. It should be the consistency of porridge but not too thick.

Cover and let stand 20 minutes or longer in the fridge. If it is very hot, always refrigerate. Use a jar to save the dough, it is more practical to pour it into the molds later.

Notes

You can use another nut butter if peanut butter is not your best option.

They can also be prepared in a normal electric type waffle maker, following the manufacturer's specific instructions. If they are going to be frozen, wait for them to cool down and wrap very well individually.
